Ilford Ortho Plus is an ISO 80 orthochromatic black and white film designed originally as a high-resolution copy film, but also well suited to camera photography including landscape, portrait and other applications where its distinctive spectral response can be used creatively.

Unlike conventional panchromatic black and white films, this film is sensitive primarily to blue and green light and has no red sensitivity. This means red and orange subjects are rendered darker, producing a distinctive tonal appearance.  One of the unique advantages of ORTHO PLUS is that the film can be handled under a deep red safelight.

Its fine grain and high resolution make it particularly suitable for detailed photography and reproduction work.
