Ilford FP4 Plus is an ISO 125 black and white film with exceptionally fine grain, high sharpness and excellent exposure latitude. It produces detailed, smooth-toned negatives and is particularly well suited to photography where fine detail and image quality are important.

This film is an excellent choice for landscape, portrait, architectural, product, fashion, street and general photography. Its ISO 125 speed makes it particularly well suited to good lighting conditions, while its excellent exposure latitude provides flexibility when exposure is not exact.

The film can be exposed over a wide range of exposure indices with appropriate processing, allowing photographers to adjust the film's characteristics to suit different shooting conditions. Ilford's technical information states that it can produce usable results with up to six stops of overexposure and two stops of underexposure.
