A new option in hand-coating emulsions, as well as the 0.25kg 'starter' size this FOMA Emulsion 1kg pack offers excellent value for money to those who wish to make larger works. The emulsion is packed in a useful wide necked tub, enabling small portions to be scooped out, rather than melting the entire container. Also included in the kit is 4ml of hardening solution, based on chrome alum in ethanol, which can be which can be added to the emulsion to help deal with difficult surfaces where bonding is a problem.

The use of photographic emulsion enables creating works of great versatility both in artistic and photographic respect. FOMA emulsion features medium contrast and extremely high covering power, with a wide scale of halftones. It has a relatively high yield of 3 to 6 square metres per 1 kg of emulsion. 

An advantage of this high-speed emulsion are short exposures which make large size enlarging possible. With the majority of developers, this emulsion gives a neutral to mildly warm image tone. The emulsion can be spread on many different bases, as e. g. wood, textile, glass, china, ceramics, metals, leather, stone, concrete, plaster etc.
